What are you waiting for?
Someone may say, I am waiting to be called, or waiting for a specific thing to happen or a sign from the Lord, THEN I will know, then I will answer, then I will act, then I will make changes in my life, then I will stop hanging around those friends, then I will eat differently, then I will be healed, then I will prioritize my husband, wife or children and on and on we make excuses inside the hiding place of our heart and mind.
I want to remind you of a man who was crippled for thirty-eight years. He was waiting beside a pool of water that The Angel of the Lord would stir. Whoever was first to enter the water would be healed. This crippled man was never fast enough, and there was no one to help him into the water.
Yeshua asked, "do you want to be well?' Many people when asked this question would say, "of course I want to be well, why do you even ask?" Just the same Yeshua asked and the crippled man gave the reason why he was not healed. Yeshua said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.”
Today there is no need to lay beside a pool and wait for the water to be stirred by the angel. The Holy Spirit is Present at all times inside of you. Reach out and grab hold of His presence. He is actually waiting on your heart to be stirred and for you to respond to HIM. What is the THING that is crippling your life? I say to you today, ACT, pick up your mat and walk, in His power and His strength and His might.
See, you do not have to wait for a specific sign, Yeshua IS the sign. He is living and on the inside of you. His Presence is ever with you. Quiet yourself and feel Yeshua`s arms around you right now.
John 5
Some time later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda[a] and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. 3 Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. [4] [b] 5 One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”
7 “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”
8 Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” 9 At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.
