I have a hard time eating or throwing seeds away!
Are you eating your seeds or throwing your seeds away? This is the Question. The farmer knows that unless he saves the seeds and plants them, he will not have a harvest. So to is the kingdom of God like a field that when the seeds are planted, the rains come and then a harvest is produced. The harvest must be patiently waited for. You cannot harvest when it is raining! No, the field must be dried from the rain so the farmer can harvest. A farmer never goes into the field when the ground is wet. If he does, he will get stuck! So to when the Holy Spirit sends the rain into our lives, it will cause the fruit we produce to ripen and THEN when the hearts have dried from the Rain of Holy Spirit, the harvest can take place. We await our husbandman/groom patiently.
James 5:7-8
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.
