SPIRIT OF GRACE

 The Holy Spirit IS the Spirit of Grace.
It was prophecied that when the Messiah comes, He would pour out a Spirit of Grace and Supplication. Zech. 12:10

What was on Yeshua?
Luke 2:40
And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was on him.

What was Yeshua filled with?
Grace and Truth.  You cannot separate grace from truth or truth from grace.  This is who Yeshua is.  May we be the same, imitators of who He is.

John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 1:16
Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.

What came through Yeshua?
John 1:17
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit IS the Spirit of Grace.
Acts 4:3
And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

What was the power that the disciples operated in?
Acts 4:33
With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all.

What was Stephen filled with?
Acts 6:8
Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.

What is the change you will see in people`s lives that is evident to ALL?
Acts 11:23
When he arrived and saw what the grace of God had done, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.

Paul and Barnabas urged these believers to continue in this Grace.
Acts 13:43
When the congregation was dismissed, many of the Jews and devout converts to Judaism followed Paul and Barnabas, who talked with them and urged them to continue in the grace of God.

What message did they confirm by performing signs and wonders?
Acts 14:3
So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of His grace

What does the Word of His Grace do in and for you?
Acts 20:32
“Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified

This same Spirit of Grace is the Holy Spirit.  Today, Holy Spirit wants to build you up into Himself and give you His inheritance.  You are seated in heavenly places with Yeshua at the father`s right hand.  The only thing we are to strive for- IS -to enter into His rest-Yeshua`s rest.
Are you striving for something today?
In Col. 1:29 it says to allow holy Spirit to strive-work-on your behalf.
Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.The word for worketh in Greek is energeia, which is not human but the supernatural power or energy of Holy Spirit working His strength through us.

THE LOVING FATHER

Have you ever truly meditated on the story of the LOVING FATHER?
You may know it as the story of the "prodigal."  It actually IS all about what the Father did and very little to do with the son.  The only thing the son did was DECIDE to come home!  This is about complete GRACE, unmerited favor!

Here is the scripture;
Luke 15: 
¹¹ Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. ¹² The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.
¹³ “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. ¹⁴ After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. ¹⁵ So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. ¹⁶ He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
¹⁷ “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! ¹⁸ I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. ¹⁹ I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ ²⁰ So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
²¹ “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
²² “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. ²³ Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. ²⁴ For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.

This is  so significant.  Why?  This is exactly what Yeshua has done for us.
First of all , the Father(Abba) beckons to us to come into His house, just as the Father in the story.
The Father seats you in His house in heavenly places with Yeshua.   He has put a ring(covenant) on your finger, and your feet are shod with the gospel of peace.  There is a celebration in heaven over every person who asks for the blood covering.  The feast is the communion we have with the Father because of Yeshua now and in the future eternally.
This IS our inheritance now in the Lord.  It is immediate!  You do not have to DO anything(works).  No, He did it all for you just because you made the decision to come back home.  Where ever you are, the Father will run out to meet you!
He is in love with you.
