Psalms 22

MORE THAN YOU CAN HANDLE

*Translate into your own language by clicking the icon to the right of the screen.*

Many, including myself, have interpreted this scripture 1 Cor. 10:13  wrongly;
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

This is speaking of temptation, this is NOT speaking of God NOT giving you more than you can handle.  When people say this or state this, just know that it is NOT in the BIBLE.
The Lord does give us more than we can handle because it is NOT WE WHO HANDLE IT!  It is at this moment of, (more than we can handle), that we surrender and turn our situation over to the Lord.  We have to say, "Your strength is made perfect in my weakness,"  YOU HANDLE IT LORD.
I take my hands OFF the situation or circumstance.  I let go and let God.  Yes, that little saying can take on a whole new meaning when we truly allow the Lord to take over the situation or problem that we face.

The Lord says, He WILL walk with us through the fire, He will NOT allow the raging waters to cover our heads.  He will never leave you or forsake you. Holy Spirit lives on the inside of you.  He will NEVER leave you.  Trust in His love today.  He has peace and joy for your troubled heart TODAY!

Isaiah 43
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
    I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
    they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
    you will not be burned;
    the flames will not set you ablaze.

For I am the Lord your God,
    the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;

When things happen that we do not understand in life-just KNOW that it is for God`s Glory to be shown and known through the situation! If no body was sick God would not be able to show His Glory when the healing happens. When things are taken away from us and we do not understand it is often to protect us even though we do not see the danger or comprehend the plan that God has for our lives or the lives of others.

Job 1
21 The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
    may the name of the Lord be praised.”
22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.

If you are a parent there are things in life that you keep your child from doing or from having.
It is for the child`s own good that something is taken away.  The parent sees the danger and prevents it by taking things away.  We often look at this as the work of the enemy, but I am here to tell you today it is God`s way of protecting you from things that you have no idea of.  We often, in our finite minds think of something as an attack of Satan because we cannot see the big plan God has.  Just because it is the opposite of your plan or totally goes against what you imagined for your life does not mean it is an act of Satan.  Stop giving the enemy credit for something that was actually God closing a door to protect you.  What is it that you are Mad or bitter at God for allowing something you thought He could and should have stopped?
This is where the action of faith, belief and surrender to God`s will for your life comes into view.
Can you see it?  Ask Him to show you His picture/vision for your life.
I promise He will.  Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened unto you.
The Word says that God opens doors that no man can shut and CLOSES doors that NO MAN can open.
The afflictions of Job were a test,  Job died a very wealthy man and full of years.
Now we are covered by the blood, but not everything is always perfect in our lives.  These things cause us to be dependent upon the Lord, without them no one would need the Lord.
Today I say, "I need you O I need you, every hour I need you Lord."

Do you have a hard time believing that you are forgiven and set free?
I want you to know today that it IS done!

Psalms 103
(1) Bless Adonai, my soul!

Everything in me, bless his holy name!

2 Bless Adonai, my soul,

and forget none of his benefits!
3 He forgives all your offenses,

he heals all your diseases,

4 he redeems your life from the pit,

he surrounds you with grace and compassion,

5 he contents you with good as long as you live,

so that your youth is renewed like an eagle’s.
